Customer service: extremely friendly! I’m usually not a big talker but I found myself having a great conversation with the man and woman working (I’m so sorry I forgot to get your names) Appearance: initially I was hesitant because the bingo area smelled like cigarettes. Food appearance: fantastic! It looked as great as it tasted! Taste: amazing! The spicy poke bowl had enough spice in it and wasn’t overwhelming. The rice was cooked to perfection! The edamame was great. And the shrimp was crunchy and warm! The Masada (hopefully I spelled that correctly: I’m addicted! These are just sooooo good! I will be going back! Thank you so much!
So today I bought masubi from the local restaurants to include Koko Cafe. We wanted to see who the best in harker hieghts was and we found out as it’s was a10/10 as far as traditional and flavorful. Also the price was in point for the quality. And to top it off the owner was a delight to meet and was very pleasant to talk to. If you don’t stop in, call and get your order but I’ve thing is for sure don’t miss out on some great food and great staff.
The food tastes VERY underseasoned. Bland fries, bland chicken, and bland pork. I was excited because I like Hawaiian. Food doesn’t taste fresh either. I’m pretty sure the sauce and food was old. This was very disappointing. I had to throw it all away, unfortunately. If you order here be prepared to order somewhere else after tasting it.
