This was my first time visiting this location, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the excellent staff and top-notch customer service made a great impression. The team at Rudy’s is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring every customer has a fantastic dining experience. Shout out to our host, Amina, who took care of us. Thanks, Amina! The restaurant is very clean and spacious, making it a perfect place to bring family and friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The selection of meats is outstanding, featuring options like beef brisket (my favorite ), turkey, chicken, and various sausages. Each item is cooked to perfection, with rich flavors that will satisfy any BBQ lover. The sides are equally impressive, with delicious choices like creamed corn, potato salad, and baked beans, just to name a few. Overall, Rudy’s BBQ in Harker Heights is a fantastic spot for great BBQ. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy some excellent food and outstanding service. Highly recommended! Not many people know Breakfast is just as good and never crowded. I would give a 5 if the bark on the back of the ribs would peel off instead of being soggy sometimes. Close to perfect BBQ. Edited: of baked potatoes and brisket for dinner
I can’t say enough good things about Rudy’s. We ate here twice during our two week stay in the area. On the first trip, they allowed us to sample a few meats before purchasing our meals. I got the brisket sandwich, creamed corn and beans. Yum! On the second trip I got the smoked potato with brisket and the cobbler. Both were delicious and I have never seen a potato that big. Even the toughest critic in the group said everything he got was amazing, especially the ribs. The banana pudding, brownies and chocolate pudding all got good ratings from the group, too.
