First time stopping in. Had the brisket and homemade sausage with potato salad. Everything was great. The brisket was tender & flavorful and the sausage was done to perfection. The atmosphere can’t be beat. This is the type of place that makes a great pit stop for lunch, you can just feel the history in the building and see it on the walls. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. You have to try the sauce that they have on the tables that gets hotter the more you shake it!
The BBQ was quite good. The brisket was pretty moist but a little fatty. The sausage was good but it’s the type of sausage that falls apart and doesn’t stay solid when you cut it. No beef ribs. ☹️ Also would have liked to have known how much the items were prior to ordering. They just had a sign but no prices.
