Been in town for a couple of days and looked around for a well known BBQ place. Decided to visit and was surprised from the first step. A true country atmosphere where the aromas hit your nose even before you receive your very warm greetings and smiles. Ordered my sides first and the server was recommending all the items I can order based on clear understanding of my dietary needs. Next to the main counter where I got my briskets. Was deceived first glance of the cuts I kept on adding to my plate, then later discovered it’s a lot more than I can eat. But a bite after bite, the briskets were melting in my mouth like butter. The seasoning was perfect and texture was amazing. The condiment bar had many choices to enhance all those flavors. Loved the place, people and food so much that I’m sure I’ll come back for more. Thanks Black’s for my pleasant experience.
Black’s food was amazing. The atmosphere was great! The brisket was melt in your mouth incredible. Ribs were HUGE, all the sides were spot on, mac and cheese, green beans, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and potato salad. The free bread and pickles make the whole meal even better. Highly recommend!
Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the ribs. We had it to go. The brisket’s melts in your mouth, but the ribs are dry. Definitely will go back, but will stick with the brisket. And also, definitely, try their mac n cheese! The best I’ve ever had! 1lb brisket 1lb ribs 1 full ring of original sausage 2 drinks Mac n cheese $100+
