We tried Guero’s/Private Chef Craig O last night for the first time and just LOVED our food. It was so easy to order, pick-up, and clean up. We had the trout with shrimp & rice. When we opened the warm meal, there was a wonderful surprise of asparagus that we didn’t expect. YUMM! The wine sauce was soooo good and the trout was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to try more meals here.
I heard many great reviews about this place but never thought I’d try it out. I’m used to taking my lunch breaks to fast food chains (Sonic, McD’s, etc) but it gets tiring (and unhealthy) over time so I tried this place today on a whim and I don’t regret it! They had a very interesting menu that I look forward to ordering from in the future; today I ordered the Purple Pig Sandwich and it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever had! It had components that I would have NEVER thought would be in a pulled pork sandwich but all the flavors blend together just perfect so I was glad. The wait time was a little long (not too long) but I very much expected that knowing the food would be made fresh and to perfection. The place is small (outside seating in their cute garden area) but to me it’s perfect (I’d see this as a “problem” if their great food yields higher customer attraction; this place is great nonetheless). And pricing here is pretty decent, I actually expected it to be more expensive but I’m glad to know it’s all affordable! I can’t wait to go back to try something else, and I highly recommend you come here too. You won’t regret it. (:
Very disappointing. We didn’t get to eat at all. Edit: they are temporarily closed. They have NO sign on the premises, which would avoid a lot of confusion. I still stand by the review I posted until I can experience the place. —————- Original Review: We arrived shortly after their posted hours. There’s no clear entrance. We wandered into what looked to be the “backyard” and there was a cluttered porch, partially blocking the only door we saw. Not seeing any way to get in (or instructions/directions to wait, etc.), I called the nuber posted here: disconnected/out of service. I called the (different) number on the sign posted, went to voicemail. For those of you that order over the phone: how/what number do you use? Because none I can see are working. I’d love to give the food a chance, but I’m not driving an hour for the place to -maybe- be open and not answer any phone calls.
