We came here for a late lunch/early dinner on April 27th. They were not too busy, so we got our food pretty fast. The brisket tasted good, but I was expecting more seasoning and a smokey flavor. It was a bit dry too. It was nice thick slices though. The chicken fried steak was huge. Much bigger that we expected. The outdoor playground was pretty nice. The service was OK. Most of the workers were cold and impersonal.
If you are looking for great Texas bbq , Blanco is your place. This place is huge. So it’s a good chance you won’t have to wait outside,but I’d get there early, cause I might be wrong.They have a large selection of meats to choose from, chicken, pull pork,sausage, ribs, chopped beef ,and my favorite brisket. There are lots of delicious desserts and a big outdoor playground for the kids.
Great bbq and great atmosphere! This restaurant had been recommended to me many times, so we decided to celebrate my Dad’s birthday here. It did not disappoint. Spacious seating and rustic decor. Live music on Fri-Sun! We loved the creamed corn, ribs, and brisket. I am a big fan of potato salad and I thought theirs was delicious! Prices are standard for bbq. I love the condiment bar they have – pickles, onions, bbq sauce, pickled onions, jalapenos, pickled carrots, pico de gallo – all add to the tastiness of the bbq. Plentiful parking on a Saturday evening. Texas is known for their bbq and I’d say Blanco BBQ definitely lives up to Texas standards. I’ll happily return!
