The food was amazing! Thomas and all his staff were so friendly and helpful. We tried the pork ribs, beef ribs, sausage, chicken, macaroni, pasta salad & the banana pudding. Oh my! So delicious! Get there early because they run out fast! Thank you, Bloodworth BBQ!
Most definitely the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Cute lil family owned business. Got to meet the owners, which also are the chefs and cashier ❤️ brisket was amazing. And don’t pass on the Banana pudding! Came back to add the 5 cheese Mac and Cheese is heaven!!!
Ok, I finally had to give this one go. I tend to be a BBQ snob and do like a little bold flavor with my brisket. I was impressed that the brisket was not over seasoned. I was on the fence about the whole lack of season “crust” on the brisket. I was impressed it was not over powering with salt and pepper (a la Franklin’s BBQ… his rub is 50/50 salt and pepper.) Nice that you used the smoke to do the talking in terms of flavor. I had first been on the fence about a BBQ Sandwich without sauce. I have always said “good BBQ does not need sauce.” The sandwich was mix of lean and fatty bits. It was over over powering and the bun they used had a nice chew to it. Unlike some of the big box store’s BBQ that uses their own brand of hamburger buns, this was a nice touch. The potato salad had that homemade taste to it and as not over bearing with mustard or pickle. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise. I am curious to try some of their other items they had on the menu. It was a quick trip to stop in, order and you were on your want. It is definitely worth a stop.
