I went to Browns for lunch. This is my first time trying them and out and let me just say it won’t be my last. From the first bite I knew I was going back. I mean omg. Them brisket tacos was a 10/10 and didn’t stand a chance lol. If you like spicy food or spicy tacos then these are it. If you don’t I would recommend holding the pepper. Try them out I promise you won’t be disappointed.
If you are serious about barbecue, Brown’s is a must do in Midland. The sausage and brisket was pretty good but the real story was the ribs. They were delicious and perfectly cooked with the precise ratio of flame charred and tenderness. Another honorable mention was their hand made chilli Verde hot sauce ( excellent ) I’m also told they do good Ole fashion breakfast which I intend on trying soon
Very friendly staff and fast service. I went on a Saturday and ordered to-go. The brisket on the meat plate was fantastic. Tender, juicy, and with a great smoke ring and crust. The loaded brisket fries were good too and they packed all the toppings on the side so it wouldn’t get soggy on my drive home. Good, basic cheeseburger for my kiddo for $3.50. Potato salad wasn’t my style, but they have a huge selection of sides, so I’ll try something different next time. I’m happy to support a local business and for the food to be great.
