Went for lunch today. Desi, the cashier, was great! I tried what she recommended– the turkey sandwich on lunch special w/ the smoked mac & cheese and the jalapeno cornbread casserole. I also picked up some extra jalapeno sausage & jalapeno pepper jack sausage to take home to my wife– those were DELICIOUS (I had a bite)… I also tried a piece of chicken, it was super moist and packed with flavor! I definitely recommend this place. Don’t forget to ask for Desi! (also pictured: the ribs!)
I took my son here today, Sunday Sept 22nd for his early birthday celebration. The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional. Canyon (hope I spelled her name right!) checked on us several times and we appreciated that. We are already planning a return trip. That cornbread casserole, the peach cobbler and ribs were outstanding. The serving portions were plentiful. Cannot say enough good things about this place! They also have a drive-thru window you can order from!
I found this place as I was trying to find my way back to the highway…. I saw the sign and stated the barbecue was amazing…. So I thought there are a lot of people here and it is not even 1pm . Let me see if it’s worth the hype…. It is. I had the link sandwich with 2 sides. The links were just right. Not too hot and we’re very delicious. Potato salad was very good and red beans and rice same. Had a Pepsi too. Man, the presentation was great, the little guy at the window welcomed me. Had a great experience over all. I would recommend everyone come have some barbecue.
