We stopped here by chance, and I’m glad we tried it. The half chicken was seasoned and smoked perfectly. The chopped beef sandwich was also a winner. They offer free beans, and they are also seasoned and tasty. I found the sausage tasty but tough. The ribs were tender but slightly undercooked, in my opinion. The sauce was horrible and extremely watery. I would definitely recommend this place, but skip the sauce.

The only area for improvement would be the beef brisket, which I find to be less impressive compared to other items on the menu – it tends to be a bit dry for my taste. With slight improvements to the brisket and pricing, it could easily reach the full 5 stars.

Famous classic counter service BBQ joint that is great for a large group. They lean into the tourist trap vibe by selling branded merchandise and expensive brisket. Make no mistake, the food is tasty, but it will cost you. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault
