Seated quickly. Table had dried food. Not a lot but noticeable. Wait staff was attentive and polite. Bread was really good and fresh. Ordered the dessert and entree together. The peach cobbler was pretty good. Lots of crust the way I like it prepared. A bit more cinnamon and sugar would have improved the flavor. The jr portion of the chicken fried had more batter than meat. The mashed potatoes and baked squash was not good. I didn’t even like its appearance. Tasted both and left the rest. The Arnold Palmer was really good. I got one to go. Didn’t mention the food quality because I didn’t want to wait for replacement food.
To start, allow me to say… I was in disbelief to see how Cotton Patch was barely busy… See, our experience here was absolutely OVER THE TOP! Our waitress (Sarah) was genuinely the greatest… Super kind and attentive with all guests! Food came out quite promptly and was served hot and fresh! (TRY THE CORN BREAD.. it is sooooooooooooooo delicious!!!) My dish was very delicious.. I was surprised at the fact I got hush puppies, okra, fries and a very yummy sweet potatoe! Food was just better than what we were expecting, and prices/portions were absolutely fair! Sincerely, I hope I do not regret this, cause I like to go to places where we get seated fairly soon… But this place is for sure a favorite and a MUST try!! (if you haven’t yet!) Cotton Patch… We will see you soon!!!
