Dickey's Barbecue Pit

***UPDATE*** Have yet to be contactedby the “customer service” after being asked and respoding to with all contact info. So….not a big surprise here! Eat at your own risk. The food was all cold, out of pulled pork. The brisket was dry and bland. I asked for BBQ sauce and was told they were out ( how does that even happen?!?). She said she would give the last she had and it was like jelly! (See pix). The beans were burnt, the fried okra tasted like dirty oil. Customer service was nonexistent, dining room was dirty. This was at 6pm on Friday night (11/17/23), nobody except for my wife and I in the dining room I have lived in Texas my whole life and have gone to Dickeys many times. This location needs to be closed and an entire new staff brought in! For $43+…..you could do better!! As of this date, I will never walk through the door of this location ever again. And I will tell everyone I meet to run… run far, far away and find a better BBQ place. (Wont be hard to find a better place, as the bar has been set VERY low).

Went to the drive through today and order 6 piece wings and potato. I waited a significant amount of time to get my order and the young lady held my card entirely too long . Once home took one bite in my wings and they were not cooked all the way … each wing was still pink on the inside very disturbing and very unhealthy I’ve order plenty of times from Dickey’s but it will be a very long time before I go back again I called back to location and young lady told me to call back in 15 mins for manager !!! No ma’am put him/her on phone NOW ! Spoke with manager Carlos in which I told Him what happened and how I was very disappointed and it’s very frustrating that u wait so long to get food that is not done . Carlos said he would credit my account for the wings (which it should have been for the entire meal) and that I could come Back any time and he would give me a free replaced meal . Thanks Carlos but no thanks I’m gonna stay away from dickeys for a while .

My experience today was poor. I ordered my food online and got 2 sauce less chicken sandwhich es and 2 unsweetened teas when I ordered sweet tea , the cashier that works there on Mondays when they open was poor because she didn’t solve my problem after I had to come back up there and then I called. The worst experience especially when you are hungry and you just want your food to be how it is advertised she says she put sauce in the sandwiches but there was none , literally disappointed, won’t be ordering again. (Yk the tea is unsweet because it’s darker)
