Grabbed a plate on my way through Memphis and the food did in fact leave me fat and happy! Catfish was seasoned well and the meat was flaky, edges were crunchy, I loved it. Hush puppies were AMAZING. Had a little jalapeño taste in them but not overpowering. The ribs were juicy, probably the best ribs I’ve ever had! I cleaned my plate. 10/10
Really good BBQ. The owner is very friendly. I had a sliced brisket sandwich w/ side of beans. My wife had a brisket plate with mac&cheese and corn sides.. Everything was excellent. This is a to-go establishment, as there is only one picnic table. There is no rest room, but there is a small Loves truck stop next door (100 ft walk) with clean and convenient restrooms. I wouldn’t let the restroom or picnic table dissuade you, you come for the food, and it is good!
This was my first time stopping in and I am certainly glad that I did. I had the chopped brisket with potato salad and mac n cheese. The brisket was absolutely delicious and the potato salad was on point! The Mac n cheese was ok but I just prefer a different kind of Mac n cheese. I’m sure a lot of people would enjoy it. I’m picky. I highly recommend this spot and I’ll be stopping in again every time I pass through! Great job guys!!
