Probably the most friendly staff I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. I’ve tried the ribs brisket pulled pork all are amazing and fantastic. I gave him five stars, but the chicken is a pass. It was skin on. Skin wasn’t crispy and didn’t have a lot of smoking on it. Still highly recommended overall.
Been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by the friendliest lady who gave us a short intro to the restaurant and let us know the specials. We placed our order and the food came out pretty quick. The ribs were fall off the bone perfect, brisket was moist, and the sausage had a good spice level. Baked beans and fried okra were some of the best we’ve had. There is a soul food element to the cooking that sets it apart from ordinary barbecue. Fantastic lunch.
I have to start off by saying this is hands down the best barbecue in the dfw region we’ve ever had. We met the owner at the texas state fair and he asked us to visit his bbq business. Everyone’s so so nice, polite, and professional. We were constantly checked on as we were eating to make sure we were taken care of. We also met the owners wife and she was so sweet oh my gosh she has the purest soul and held a conversation as if we’ve known each other for years. The owners take pride in their food and it shows. Their barbecue is delicious and seasoned to perfection. I highly highly recommend this BBQ business. #FlatrockSmokehouse
