Great food. My son’s reaction to his food…OMG this is so good. If you have not stopped on your way through town you need to. Bring an appetite because plates are well served.
We usually just get our food to go and every time it’s amazing. Food is cooked well and when they put the food in the to go containers they really go above and beyond to make your food look presentable and kept warm. Their new menu is also great and the portions are just right. I really appreciate the excellent customer service as well. When we called, a woman answered and she politely put us on hold and she was helping another customer and she was congenial to them as well. She got everything in our order correct too. Really thankful for restaurants like this!
I was in George West for work with a coworker. We were told to eat at GW Steakhouse. Wasn’t really in the mood for steak so I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was fork tender but the gravy was cream of chicken soup. Not the white gravy one would expect. My partner ordered the chicken fettuccine. Our very friendly server said it was homemade and one of her favorite dishes. My partner said it had a funny taste. I tried it and it tasted like it was made with curdled milk with extra extra garlic. We may try it again if we’re thru this way. Maybe it was just an off day.
