My experience at Hawaiian Bros has been fun. I love it and I’ve gone to this specific location 3 times with a different group each time. The service and the atmosphere is superb The food has been great. If I compare it to other Hawaiian places, they’re good. I think L&L in Plano does their musubi and macaroni salad a tad bit better. However, they are equal in their short ribs. I was a little shocked that my musubis were $3.50, but the musubis at MoBettahs were $2.99 so slightly better there. Nevertheless, a taste of home or island life is great to have out here in Texas. I can appreciate what they bring so I love it
Never been and came with a coworker for a late lunch on his recommendation. Upon entering, an employee will assist you with ordering (although we told them we didn’t need it) and it made for an awkward ordering process (think 4 people standing at the kiosk trying to order). I ended up with the Honolulu Chicken (small) and it can with white rice, I subbed the mac-n-cheese salad for their veggies. The meal itself was ok but it could’ve came out warmer. The small is also a good portion size for lunch. It was a quick in and out meal but I doubt I’ll be back.
When i first came to this location months ago food was great , but today 5/14/2024 i came back just for macaroni salad & spam as it was around 11pm , I understand workers need to do their closing duties although it is disappointing seeing the quality of food go down late in the evening. I did not notice how the pasta was until i had a few bites and all i saw was that which was very unappetizing.I like this restaurant so much i hope to see it improve.
