Awesome food and great group of people! Didn’t get a picture of the ribs before they disappeared. Even the fur baby got to enjoy some great food. The praline cheesecake and stuffed potato was amazing. Thank you very much! Next time I’m buying a whole cheesecake!
They have some of the Best BBQ I’ve ever eaten. And the case full of all home made desserts was wonderful. I’m a good cook. But some of those pies were better than mine.
Texas BBQ. I had to check this place out. The boudin link had a casing that snapped, real deal, not like the plastic kind. I don’t know if it was real or not. I was unable to get a picture of the tender turkey breast we had. Not dry at all. I got the three meat plate. The chicken had a light smoke flavor and was otherwise slightly bland of salt and pepper, but putting it in the sauce made it. The sausage was good, and the brisket had the same flavor profile as the chicken, but was perfectly cooked. The potato salad didn’t have much, if any, egg, which is why I liked it so much. The camp/ranch style beans were just slightly aldente, but perfection none the less. The ribs were tender, not fatty, and perfectly seasoned. Their pies though…. the bread pudding pie was out of sight awesome, and unfortunately the picture was after we annihilated it. The pumpkin pie was fresh out of the oven, with the most perfect homemade crust. The sweet potato pie was also excellent. The prices were excellent!
