I recently visited Jimmy Vega’s Smokehouse and ordered a brisket sandwich. While the brisket was a bit tough, the barbecue sauce helped me to make it more enjoyable. The Mac and cheese was delicious, but the green beans were slightly oversalted. The restaurant offers a choice of one side with the brisket sandwich, which is a reasonable value. The atmosphere is charming, with an old-school decor and handwritten messages on the walls. Outdoor seating provides the opportunity to enjoy live music while dining. Overall, while the brisket was a disappointment, Jimmy offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious sides and a welcoming atmosphere.
Where to start!?!? Great food and great service! Came here while visiting friends and came back to bring some brisket home (yes, TSA almost took it). Everything was delicious! They had many sauces, pickles, jalapenos, and good sweet tea. The employees were hilarious, we all started singing to the radio. They were super helpful with my wife’s gluten/dairy allergies. We are still talking about the food here. We have nothing close to this in WA, sad!. Tried three other places and came back here- enough said!
