I drive through Wimberley often and have been meaning to try this place out and glad I finally did. The brisket is top tier for central TX, moist with an excellent bark. The ribs were amazing as well, perfectly tender and sauced. Even the potato salad was superior to many other I’ve had. The staff were very friendly and food came out quickly. I can’t wait to return to try some of their other meats. This place deserves to be on the next Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ.
Great BBQ in Wimberley TX. Saw the sign in passing to my destination and drove back about 30 minutes to try it. When I tell you I am so glad I drove back man. The ribs and brisket were both so juicy and flavorful. The ribs literally fell off the bone. I got the brussel sprouts and potato salad as my sides since they were already sold out of the Mac and cheese. The Brussels were a bit on the sweet side for me but were still yummy. The potato salad was fresh and had nice flavor. If I’m ever in Wimberley again I will be sure to stop by Kelly’s again. So good!
The pulled pork and ribs were excellent! I didn’t think they would be so delicious but they were! The meats were seasoned perfectly; not too sweet not too salty but just right. And the ribs were fall off bone tender. I also had the apple pecan coleslaw and it was delicious too. I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s traveling to hill country
