Born and raised Texan here. This place meets, beats, and defeats all expectations. Try some prime brisket by itself or take a chance on one of Ryan’s experimental creations because I promise you will not be disappointed. Amazing food, great conversation, AND it is located in Texas’s first licensed bar after prohibition. Come for the meat and stay for the culture
The brisket sandwich is simply just awesome here. I mean look at that fatty marble (i asked for marble brisket), it was a real big sandwich that was really delicious & the crusty part on the back had soooo much flavor I really enjoyed it. The young man that took my order was real cool that courtesy extra piece of brisket was delicious & much appreciated. I can’t wait to come back & have it again along with something else nxt time around.
