I came in with some friends last weekend and was super satisfied with the experience. Jarrod was extremely kind and helpful when walking us through the menu, and gave us his recommendations on what to get. We chose to get the L&L Burger, Brisket, their sausage special of the day, and the Flat Iron Steak. Everything was extremely flavorful but the highlight had to be the flat iron steak. Seasoning and tenderness was perfect and it just melted in your mouth! The brisket was some of the best I’ve had and the burger was a fun experience. I would definitely recommend coming here!
Even better than the original food truck! Same deliciousness but with ample area to park, Indoor dining, lounge and bar. They even take your drink order while you wait in line. The BBQ is amazing; great beer and great sides too. My favorite and the kids’: the L&L burger; unbelievably delicious smoked brisket patty in a toasted potato bun.
**Restaurant Review: One of Austin’s Top Barbecue Spots for Brisket** If you’re looking for top-tier brisket in Austin, this barbecue restaurant is a must-visit. It firmly holds a spot in my top five, maybe even top three, barbecue spots in the city. Every time I visit, the brisket is consistently tender and flavorful, with that perfect balance of smoky goodness that barbecue enthusiasts crave. The meat’s quality and the cooking process’s precision truly set this place apart from many others in the area. However, there’s a slight downside: the specials. Every visit brings a minor disappointment as the specials are always sold out when I arrive. I’ve heard rave reviews about their unique cuts, like beef cheek, but I’ve yet to experience them. Last time, I enjoyed their traditional barbecue offerings, which never fail to impress, but the anticipation of trying one of their unique cuts remains. I hope to savor one of their highly sought-after specials one day. Until then, their brisket and traditional offerings are enough to keep me returning for more. This place is a true gem in Austin’s vibrant barbecue scene.
