Sunday, July 21st, around 6:30 pm. Place is not busy but still a lot of people around here. Brisket was dang good and Mac n cheese weren’t half bad. I’ve had better at Smoke Sessions in Royce City but this hits the spot. $10 for the beer and $25 for the food. Baseball stadium prices! Plenty of places to sit inside and out.
I went here today for the cowboys game. I have been to a lot of places in Texas for BBQ, and this is hands down some of the worst BBQ I have ever had. Brisket was super tough, you had to work very hard to cut it with the plastic knives they provide. Also super fatty meat overall. The sausage was also dry, shriveled, and unappetizing. Pork ribs were also very dry but at least had some decent flavor. Also staff was extremely slow and could have worked much more efficiently to get the line moving. I have never not finished a meal when it comes to BBQ, but I actually had to throw this out half way through my meal it was so bad. Very disappointing.
