We got the 3 meat plate (Ribs, Brisket and Pulled Pork) with corn and beans. So awesome to have such a good local BBQ place. Great food. Super fast service and very clean.
Fantastic Texas BBQ. As soon as we walled in we walked in we were greeted and made to feel very welcomed. The speed of service was outstanding, we literally ordered found our table and the food was already being delivered. We ordered the Tour of Texas Plate (by far one of the best values) of any BBQ spot. We also tried the loaded baked potato, BBQ street corn in a cup, and the steak finger. Everything. Was 10 out of 10 experience, taste, atmosphere. Definitely worth the try
Our first time in was on a Friday afternoon (around 5pm) and pickins were slim. We planned a second trip from Amarillo another Friday, but this time we’d be there right as they opened (at 11am). We ordered the Tour of Texas, choosing sausage, sliced brisket, and pulled pork. The brisket was a favorite for both of us, but to our surprise nothing was hot. Everything was warm, at best. For being there right as they opened, you’d think everything would be piping hot – even after it’s rested. Sides were okay. I wished the corn was more like their elote (street corn) special. So far our gold standard has been Terry Black’s BBQ, but in a desolate place such as Tulia, Tx and The Panhandle in general, this place is good. Maybe third time’s the charm?
