Two meat plate with moist brisket in St. Louis baby back. Sides potato salad, and baked beans. Service and food excellent. Not a fan of the bean formulation. Just my personal preferance. Willing to bet Mr. Von doesn’t get many phone calls. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
I came here after hearing about it from family. I got the “Red Plate” with ribs & sausage. I had potato salad & fried okra as my sides. The ribs literally fell off the bone, sausage was favorable. The potato salad & fried okra are very tasty here. I also tried the Dublin Dr. Pepper as well & it was great.
Love their Friday night catfish. They have good portions and good prices. The fish is done well. We will have to come back for the bbq. Everyone working there is so friendly. It’s a great little spot. The banana pudding is very good. The hush puppies and fried okra were delicious. The fries don’t travel well, so you may want to try something else if you’re doing take out.
