A real hometown joint run by some fantastic people. The brisket and ribs may have been the best I’ve had in all 50 states. The turkey was super moist and flavorful. But what I’ve truly never had anywhere else was the Caesar Slaw which paired so well with the rich meats. Also the desserts were out of this world (banana pudding and chocolate chip bread pudding ). Bottom line, any place with a neon sign to let you know when they are sold out is somewhere you want to go out of your way to go and try. Thanks for making my first Texas meal one to remember
“I recently visited Red Bird BBQ, and I have to say, this place is a gem! One of the cool things I loved is that you can actually see the guys cooking behind a glass window, which adds a nice touch of authenticity. The service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. As for the food, it’s absolutely delicious! I had the brisket and scalloped potatoes, and both were amazing. I also got to try the turkey and cornbread pudding, which were equally mouth-watering. The cornbread pudding is definitely something unique and I’m glad I gave it a try. The owner is a nice young guy who really seems to care about the quality and service. If you’re looking for a great BBQ spot with a modern twist, I highly recommend Red Bird BBQ!”
I came all the way from Austin to try the BBQ here and it was worth it!!! Amir and his team put together a mouth watering spread of grub!! Highly recommend. Get there early as there is usually a line before they open. 1/2 lb Meat Sampler is the way to go. Definitely worth the stop!!
