I was excited to try this place because it was so convenient to my work. It seems to have a lot of regulars as the servers recognized and called customers by name. We ordered the Wed special – pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was so salty it was inedible. We canceled our to go order for a coworker. When we declined a to go box for our uneaten food, the waitress said nothing about us liking or not liking our meal & just simply brought our check.
I grew up in Riverside and ate there all the time as a kid. We took a friend back for her birthday lunch and it was still great! Reminiscent of my childhood days with my Mom.
This place is great. The tap beer is always cold poured in their frosted huge scooners. If you come here on a Friday you have to get the pork chop special. I’ve had it numerous times and its never been over cooked. Today I had the mac n cheese with coleslaw for my sides. It was awesome
