If you haven’t given Schulze’s Pit Room a try, you certainly need to. We stopped in to grab a sandwich, and let me tell you, we were so happy that we did. We both got the brisket sandwich served on a sweet sourdough bun and the Pinto Beans. Hands down the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try something else! The staff were absolutely wonderful and treated us the way Texans treat their friends, family, and a hungry stranger. Thank you so much. I look forward to coming in again soon.
We saw thus restaurant on TikTok and they did NOT disappoint. The brisket was some of the best we have ever had. It was crispy on the edges and moist and mouth watering to the taste and eyes! It just broke apart in your mouth. We had seasoned potatoes and cowboy baked beans. The food was amazing. The restrooms were clean and the woman that cleans the tables was so polite and personable! We can’t wait to visit again. This restaurant will remain in our rotation as a “must stop.”
Great BBQ with friendly service in an open and relaxing atmosphere. Stopped in and had the brisket with Mac and cheese and friend okra and all was great. My biggest complaint was the Mac was a bit heavy but the brisket was some of the best I’ve had, tender and flavorful and you could cut it with a fork. Service was fast and friendly and the place was clean and open. It’s a bit off the beaten path but a great place to stop for lunch or dinner.
