The brisket was mouth-watering. The beans, macaroni and cheese, and jalapeño corn were great. Our only issue was that the Mac and Cheese was not warm, although I’m sure they would’ve heated it up had we asked. Either way, it was great. The people were absolutely wonderful. We even had a customer tell us the best thing to order because she goes there weekly for lunch and she was right. Loved it and will definitely go back when I’m in Abilene.
Five stars for the fries. Fresh crispy excellent. The brisket sandwich was small and the meat smelled rancid. Had to force it down with a ton of sauce but still couldn’t finish. Never again
Very much enjoyed going here. In our group, we got the Burger w/Fries, Stuffed Potato and the Chicken Quesadilla. The food was so good. They have lots of seating and the decorations were nice. We went back the next day so I could get a picture of the front and a man came out to see what I was doing. I told him how much I enjoyed eating there and that I wanted to add the picture to my review. He didn’t respond, just stood there watching me. That was weird and uncomfortable. I deleted the picture and I even debated writing a review, but the food was so tasty and I still have those pictures. So…… 5 stars for the women working at the register and the food. 0 stars for the man that made me feel like I was doing something wrong.
