i have seen Smoky Buns the past few weeks on our local FB page and made it out today and it was so good! Have been craving a brisket sandwich and this was so tender and moist, like melt in your mouth. Got sauce on the side which had great flavor and the buns were good quality as well. If you’re in the mood for a solid bbq sandwich stop by. i’d put it up there with rollin smoke, slab bros, salt lick, and terry black, truly! We’ll come back for sure.
It is amazing! I am from Houston, came because of the ratings and boy! They don’t lie, this taco truck provides the best customer service and brisket ever! I hope I come to Austin more often, because I’ll definitely continue to make my stop here!
I recently visited Smokey Buns and had a fantastic experience! I tried the brisket sandwich, barbacoa taco, pork belly taco, and street corn. Everything was delicious, but the brisket sandwich was my favorite. The owner is nice and friendly, and they are only open on Saturdays. I will definitely be back!
