Great service from our server. She was friendly and attentive. Our drinks were filled in a timely manner. Our steaks were cooked to order just as we asked. The play area was well maintained for the toddlers. Our server was very patient with the two rambunctious toddler grandbabies. The banana pudding was very tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
The atmosphere is laid back. I went there on Sunday Apr21 to check out their live music scene. They had The Texas Heat band playing. They were pretty good. I only tried their Alligator Tail bites, and they were very good and well seasoned. The Corona’s were cold and the salt and lime added a great taste. They went down pretty easy. Overall I had a great time.
I came back here with my BFF because we were in the mood for beef liver and alligator bites! Yum, yum!!! But you have to ask if they still have the beef liver, it is so good! This time we added Boudin balls to the mix. As sides we picked fried okra and mixed vegetables. And they do bring you mini biscuits, mini cornbread bites, and rolls with butter! Savannah, our server, was on top of it! This is definitely my go to place for alligator bites and beef liver! Oh, we were seated in the bar area, which was at this time just right for us!
