Some of the best brisket I’ve had with amazing beef flavor. Pulled pork was moist with great smoke. Ribs were tender and able to be easily removed from the bone. Overall excellent choice if looking for authentic texas bar b que.
I’ve been eyeballing this place for several years and finally planned my day so I could slide in before 3pm! It was DELICIOUS! The chicken, brisket, and jalapeño sausage was juicy, smokey, and melted in my mouth. The potatoe salad was top notch!!! The sauce was the sauciest sauce, too. Can’t wait to go back & try some more items!
The Fire Island sandwich was good. Smoked chicken and a slice of pineapple that is a nice addition to the sandwich, also comes with fresh leafy lettuce, tomato and onion, sauce on the side. I had the potato salad for a side, is top notch, I’d give this meal 4+ a little if I could. For this sandwich and side I gave 4 stars. I’ve had a couple of their other meats that I thought were average at best, I’d give them 3 stars. The chicken will definitely be my meat of choice on a return to Stevie Lew’s.
