EDIT: After going about 8 times, we won’t be back until the music volume is under control. It just got louder each time we went it seemed. It was so loud the last time we had to yell, YES LITERALLY YELL, our drink order to the waitress. You cannot even carry on a conversation with anyone, not even the person sitting next to you in a booth. We got offered to sit outside when we said something….really? Music should be part of the ambience, not a headache inducer. Absolutely ridiculous. We left before drinks were even served and went to On the Patio, where we could actually have a conversation over dinner. Also, as a side note. Their onion rings have changed and they are definitely not hand battered. They are out of a bag and tasteless. Really is a shame, as the food (for most part) is decent and we were going on average of 3 times a week. **** ORIGINAL: Excellent food. The atmosphere is great, but music was a bit too loud (not a live music night). We went on Sunday evening and was not crowded, thankfully, as this was our first time and wanted to take it all in. They have made a really good sit-down restaurant! We had Chicken Caesar Salad, grilled. Chicken Fried Chicken w/Cream Gravy. Hornet Patty Melt. Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea and Coke. Fries have a crispy outside! I appreciate that!! Now, time to do away with the table(s) behind greeter and put in a salad bar! We need an amazing salad bar in Azle, lol. Will definitely be back.
Tonight was the first visit.I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and onion rings. (takeout) I’m sorry but my tastes said Italian dressing, which is what I told the manager when I took it back. The salad and croutons were soaked in it. She politely told me it was Caesar. I disagreed, and left it as a I didn’t like it so be it. Refund was offered, and I declined. If that is their recipe, so be it. The onion rings were good. Not enough to go back.
We went to their soft opening. Fantastic staff, friendly, great food, and overall impressive for a soft opening! Make sure you give some grace for them working out the kinks and minor details. Everyone we met was polite, pleasant, and wanted to be there. Five stars all the way! Also, they opened the door for customers and they are genuinely happy to see you.
