Came here for the first time and was highly disappointed. I had to throw the whole plate in the garbage. The ribs were dried out as in days old. The brisket and turkey had absolutely no flavor, they taste as if they were boiled in water. Nothing tasted like actual bbq. The owner should be made aware of this. I hate I did not read the reviews before coming. This is unacceptable.
This was my first time coming and will be my last. Each Saturday or Sunday, I try to patronize black owned businesses instead of chain restaurants like Papas BBQ(because they got their millions already). I ordered the 3 meat plate w/greens, potato salad, and beans. The pulled pork was very dry with no flavor. The sausage was ok and the brisket was fatty and tough. Nothing had flavor except the greens and potato salad. Everything else was trash. I should have read the reviews first like I normally do because I would have went to the chain restaurant .
I went it on Wednesday, August7th, just curious about their BBQ. I asked for a sample of it and let me tell you, it was awesome!!! I’m sick of Rudy’s, and waiting in line at Corkscrew at 10:00 AM with sun beating on you is just…. Blah! This will be my new BBQ destination in Spring. The brisket is SO good & moist, chicken falls off the bone, and the sausage is amazing! All wonderfully flavored! CHECK THEM OUT!!
