If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. The BEST Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had in my life. If you don’t try their Mac & Cheese, you’re missing out. From start to finish my experience at this restaurant was amazing and intriguing at the same time. There was a lineup way out the door and I wondered if I should wait. Don’t be fooled – the line moves FAST. They have 2 opportunities along the way for you to buy drinks while you’re lining up to buy food. Once you get inside, you have staff informing you how to order which is very helpful because things move quick! You first order the sides. We got a portion of Mac & Cheese, green beans, coleslaw, pickles and cornbread. For the meats we got 3/4lb pork ribs and 1/3lb brisket. This was the perfect amount of food for my partner and I. My individual ratings for each would be: Pork ribs – 9.5/10 Brisket – 9/10 Mac & Cheese – 10/10 (11/10, really) Green beans – 9.5/10 Coleslaw – 8/10 Pickles – 9/10 Cornbread – 10/10 Don’t get turned off by the line, it moves fast! I would highly recommend this place – I would go back in a heartbeat!

Trust me, their creamy corn is an absolute masterpiece—the most heavenly creamed corn I’ve ever tasted. A cheerful staff member will whisk your tray away, handing you over to a meat maestro. Choose your cuts of brisket, cheese sausage, and burnt ends in generous 1/3 pound portions. The brisket melts in your mouth, the cheese sausage is a savory delight, and the burnt ends are crispy and smoky perfection. Oh, and don’t miss their beef ribs, they’re colossal and fall off the bone effortlessly. While the wait can be daunting, we lucked out with a short line at 2:30 pm. Seating, however, is a bit of a challenge. They don’t allow seat-saving, so it might be hard to keep your group together. Overall, if you’re a fan of authentic Texas barbecue, Terry Black’s is an absolute must-try. Their spacious outdoor seating, exceptional service, and mouthwatering meats will leave you craving their smoky goodness for days to come. The place was great! THE MEAT was fresh. The brisket and Ribs are top tier! The sides were a little salty but they were still good. The place needs some homemade lemonade. Minute made don’t cut it. The wife and I loved the quick friendly service!
