We’re staying at a nearby RV Park and the hosts recommended we visit Texas Grub Wagon Restaurant. WOW! We are so glad we did! The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and we had a great time watching the ball game on the big screen TV (at least my husband did, and that makes me happy.) Thank you all for allowing me to get a photo of the staff (best shirts ever) and for a great experience!
First time stopping by. Had the two meat plate. Moist brisket was sliced in large pieces , would like a bit more moisture in it but all in all good. Pork ribs were good could use a bit more spices for me but with that bbq sauce was good enough. Staff was friendly and prices are worth stopping again to try other items.
On your way upstate from the Rio Grande Valley, between Falfurrias and Premont is a must stop place for delicious Texas BBQ, Texas Grub Stop. The Brisket is top level, moist and tasty. Don’t leave without trying their desserts, all are insanely delicious. Highly recommend, worth the stop.
