The BEST service in Texas!! We had the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken. Both were AMAZING!!! It’s the real deal home cooking. It’s not all the prepackaged junk. This place is a hidden gem. We aren’t in town often but I can tell you we will go back every time we are in town. The sweet tea is the BEST! Thank you guys for a great dinner!
We wanted down home country cooking and this place did not disappoint. It’s so good we went back the next night. All food entrees were excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was great. The food had large portions, contained a diverse selection, and homemade sauces. We especially loved the ribeye beef tips over rice daily special. On Friday night they had karaoke. It has a Texas decor and country feel, with large wooden tables and chairs. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious. Salmon was a little over spiced. But cooked perfectly. Grilled shrimp flavor was awesome. Redfish plate could have been bigger for the price, but was absolutely cooked to perfection. Wanted more of that definitely. Mashed potatoes and gravy and steamed veggies were a great side. Our waitress was fantastic. She’s only been working there a week but she is the best!! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
