For $103 for ribs alone this place is completely overrated and I wouldn’t recommend. Ordered the beef ribs and 60% of it was straight fat. Flavor was decent (nothing spectacular) and meat was definitely fresh but not worth the price especially when it was mainly fat. Also side options were minimal. Had much better.
This restaurant was recommended by IAH airport car rental staff. I ordered the ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, potato salad, corn, and potato salad. The sausage and sauce they put on the corn is spicy but flavorful. I also tried some vegetables I thought were pickled but were spicy. I think the bar should be labeled for those who don’t know what the items are. The food was very delicious. The ribs were tender and seasoned well enough to not need sauce. There was a very long line but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait. I will come back next time I’m in the area.
This place is AMAZING. The food is worth a stop every time. I’m in Houston once a year and we make this a Pit Stop (pun intended) every time. The moist brisket, the sausage (pork and venison) and the chicken make for a fantastic 3 meat platter. The sides that made the meal were the Elote and charro beans. On top of that the people working are all so friendly and helpful. This is what BBQ should be.
