We are not from the area but was wanting bbq & this place had good reviews. We went through the drive thru, the staff was very nice. However, our meals did not live up to the reviews we read. My husband said his chicken was dry & flavorless, and the brisket in my plate was gray, dry, and hard. We both got ribs as our second meat and they were better than the other meats, some sweetness in the rub, juicy and tender, but overall just okay. The corn casserole is not really a casserole, it’s more of a creamed corn & both of our servings had a weird taste like it was starting to sour. Our daughter got the chopped brisket sandwich and enjoyed it- I sampled the meat and it was much better than the sliced brisket in my plate. Our middle son got the kids burger and enjoyed it but said it could be better. Our youngest got the kids sausage on a stick and this was the star of the meal. Definitely the best smoked sausage we’ve had, reminded us of deer sausage. Maybe it was just an off meal for them, but wanted to share our experience.
We got carry out during our stay at Sea Rim Park. Brisket, stuffed potato, chicken, and veggies were all delicious! Highly recommend. Staff was very polite and friendly.
Tony’s is excellent!! We ate inside instead of take out and they had the most delicious ranch potatoes!! It was heavenly!!! The brisket was so tender!!!
