1st time visit, was different style restaurant to where we cooked our own food. But it was fun to experience, we did 2 specials “all you can eat” ($30.99ea), to sample an array of meats and appetizers. Our teenager order chicken fried rice. But she tried few meat items and really enjoyed. Must try with more family. All 3 of us was about $80 total.
I ordered a bibimbap to go. Not only was it $18 (not competitively priced), but it was the most expensive bibimbap I’ve ever purchased. The portion size was small, and the vegetables (the most important part) lacked flavor. Who puts purple cabbage on bibimbap? I was so disappointed by this meal. I love Korean food, raised on Korean food, and was hoping for a taste of home. This missed the mark. Maybe only go here for the BBQ option? Oh, I also saw that they sell “self serve” instant ramen like Neoguri, Shin, and Buldak for $7. Come on now! A 4 pack at the store costs the same if not cheaper.
By far the best place in San Antonio! My wife and I have been here a few times, and the food/service/atmosphere is so much better as compared to other so-called Korean bbq places that don’t even have a person to greet you at the door and makes you wait 10 min before someone even walks out from the back. Nice snd friendly place! Highly recommend!
