Spacious bbq place with versatile menu. I enjoyed the gut pack, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The booths featured charming pieces of Baylor sports memorabilia. The gut pack is a meal-sized take on the traditional Frito pie.
Jesus H Christ that banana pudding put me in a child like state. I was amazed by the sheer power it held in that tiny little Styrofoam cup. Sweet, silky, smooth just like my ex girl friend when she wanted money. I can’t begin to explain or try to comprehend the immense joy I had in the 1.2 seconds it took to finish my 2 orders of this amazing beautiful little snack. It is akin to a cool spring breeze up my little shortie shorts after doing legs at Train Waco. I love this stuff so much, I’d give up love for it. My o ly complaint is there isn’t enough in a single order. I couldn’t bathe my taste buds the way I wanted to with only 2 orders. I want this dessert to engulf my life in a cocoon of ecstacy. We went here for dinner at around 7pm. They close at 8pm so we went in expecting the meats to be a little dry. When we got there it was really busy. There’s was a line to order but it went by pretty quick. All the tables and booths were taken up luckily one opened up when we were ready to sit. I think this place wants to maximize the amount of people that can dine but all the tables sit 4-8 people or more. Most groups were 2 people so the 2 people would take up an entire booth designed for 6 people or more. I would recommended Viteks to get more 2 people sittings. The food was in fact a little dry but it was still really good. The flavor was great and I know if I return it’ll be during the lunch meal and I can have higher expectations on the freshness. I recommend going early since when we went they were almost running out of brisket, they were out of ribs, and green beans. So the earlier the better. The Mac n cheese was amazing though. Everything tasted great. I feel if I went there at 11am it would easily get 5 stars.
