These guys. Who does service like this anymore?!Rare these days. So very impressed. Really good business minded practices centered around taking care and catering to the customer experience, and good food. The service was incredible. The GM went out of his way to ensure my allergy kid had something to eat since there wasn’t much on the menu for her. And let me back up… I realized I forgot my wallet when I got there. They figured out a way to let me pay – and I was happy to. I was so impressed. Simple clean filet, sides, salad, and peach cobbler at end. Business. Earned. Well done.
Food is rich, flavorful, and presented beautifully without any sense of pretense. The dry aged porkchop made me laugh outloud at how good it was upon tasting it. Drinks are all extremely well made and the whiskey selection is excellent (the Sagamore flight is particularly excellent) The deserts are almost as sweet as my server was, while the atmosphere is clean and inviting. Beyond genuinely excellent attentiveness, the staff knows their offerings and they provide excellent recommendations for both food and drink. In just two visits this has become a must visit for me anytime I’m in the area.
I had the brisket with mash potatoes and a scone. Meat was tasty but dry. Probably shouldn’t have asked for lean. It was presented with three sauces. Original barbecue, spicy, and Alabama White. I liked the first two, especially the spicy. Mashed potatoes were good. Decor is really nice, and there is a full bar. Overall good impression, but a bit pricey. Dinner for two with one drink each was over $60.
