Bacon cheeseburger was good. Onion rings the worst I’ve ever had. Looked like the oil they used was really old, breading was soggy. Grease was dripping off of the the onion rings as well as water. It looked like they had some old onion rings, put them in a Styrofoam container and microwaved causing the onion rings to be steamed. Seriously they were disgusting. Took 2 bites to make sure and I spit out both of them. On top of that I’ve had the same experience twice when I was paying and I’ve only been there twice. When paying cash they only give me back bills no coins and of course in their favor. Yes it was only 41 cents but to keep it without even bringing it up isn’t the way to go about it and it’s a pattern with this establishment. I decided to try them out again after a not so good experience last time but I definitely won’t be going back
All around great experience. Just what we were looking for. A covered open air area pleasant even on a hot day. The knowledgeable staff answered our questions about the menu. We wanted to try something different and they provided! Their Texas rolls were tasty. An egg roll wrapping with brisket mac n’ cheese and another with Philly cheese steak fillings, complete with dipping sauces. My husband really enjoyed his customized brisket burger. We also shared the street tacos and fries. True to the posted signs, this is not fast food, they make the food once ordered and it’s worth waiting for. We didn’t even notice the wait between the movies on the big tv, the basketball shooting game, and the dartboard. There were also oversized jenga and connect four and cornhole/beanbag toss games. We would definitely recommend it and will certainly go back next time we are in Rockport.
Made a trip back to Rockport and had to stop at my Favorite Place in town!!!! Great Food! Friendly Faces and a Family Atmosphere!!! Love y’all!!!
